Happy Thanksgiving!

This time of the year is a time to reflect on what we are thankful for and for gathering with our families & loved ones to start the wonderful holiday season.
This year I am thankful for my new job at Chestnut Ridge Middle School. I am thankful for the wonderful staff and for the students who challenge me more than I could EVER imagine. I am also thankful for the love I have in my life…though I won’t be with my significant other for Thanksgiving, I know I am there in his heart and that his family is celebrating with me from across the distance. I am also thankful for my health…even though I am battling a cold, I am thankful that I have not encountered anything more severe this year and have been healthy overall for most of the year. Finally, I am thankful for my family back in Binghamton. Even though I may not be as close as they might like and don’t visit as often as I’d like, I know that they are there for me and are only a phone call away…I am thankful that I am able to visit them these next couple of days and share in the fun, laughter, good food & family festivities.
So with all that said….what are you thankful for? Feel free to post your comments here.
Safe Travels & Happy Holidays to all
